A gasket is a compressible material used to form a static seal between two separable adjoining surfaces, which do not move in relation to each other.We need a gasket to compensate for irregularities of a machined or corroded surface on an assembly, which is to be sealed.

At JMP we manufacture gaskets from a host of materials (including metal,sponge, rubber and industrial gasket sheeting), which are suitable for a wide range of applications and conditions. The gaskets are manufactured to recognised international specifications such as SABS (South African Bureau of Standards),BSI (British Standards Institution), ASA (American Standards Association), ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and many others. Alternatively they can be customised to suit any specific customer requirements.
